Clint began his career in 1981 at Time Inc., where he worked under legendary editors Otto Fuerbringer and Marshall Loeb, interviewed Wall Street giants John Bogle and Peter Lynch in their prime, and helped introduce Money readers to modern portfolio theory and behavioral finance. He moved to Maine in 1993 and immediately founded The Writing Company, a community of writers and editors who care about readers and each other. Clint’s financial writing has been nominated for a National Magazine Award (the Ellie). His books include The Boys of Everest (nominated for the Banff Mountain Literature Award) and more than 40 anthologies on adventure, investing, religion, war and other subjects.
